BRIEF

A one day turn around for a book cover. This text was produced to be distributed to schools, particularly A Level students. And gives a detailed overview of the many different varieties of antisemitic interpretations of the holocaust. It’s a good, and valuable read today.

CREATIVE

I referenced imagery from the New Left printers at Atelier Populaire. Opting finally for a single black-shirted hand covering a wall with white paint where an image already exists. The lines of paint blend together, and so it could be that the act of erasure is what has produced the drips of the uniform, just as holocaust denial intends to produce a new holocaust.

OUTCOME

The book is stocked online and is widely available in shops. The conceptual work allowing for an easy engagement with the product, and the colour and vivacity of the illustration has been well received by the target audience.
