POSTCOLONIAL MONDO

Cutting together work from Africa Blood and Guts, one of the most notorious mondo genre films from Gualtiero Jacopetti and Franco E. Prosperi the two founders of the genre, and racist, abusive adventurers. This film seeks to bring to the foreground the violence of the form, within the language of mondo films. I used the stroboscopy technique that Nicolas Provost used to great effect.
